Real Nutrition for Real Life. For Women. For Their Daughters.
I started moving my body when I was 14 years old.
Not in a gym. Not with a trainer.
But in the only place I could - the endocrinology hospital in my small hometown, where a woman hosted aerobics classes twice a week.
At the time, I was a teenager navigating puberty - and like many girls, I was told I was “solid.” Not overweight, just “built that way.” I was living with my father, who had lost his wife (my mother) very early. Cooking wasn’t his strength, so most of my meals were schnitzel and fries.
That same woman teaching aerobics gently introduced me to the idea of better choices - ones that fit my reality, my access, and our financial limitations.
I started cooking my own meals. Soup, mostly. It wasn’t perfect, but it was mine.
And my body responded. I got leaner. I felt more alive in my skin.
That was the first time I understood the link between food, movement, and how I felt.
And although I didn’t know it yet, that moment would become the seed of a mission - one that would take three decades to fully bloom.
It was personal. Then it became professional.
I spent the next 30 years learning, experimenting, reading, training - not as a career, but as a passion.
Then came the turning point: my daughter.
She started ballet at 11.
By 14, she had been accepted - on scholarship - to one of the most prestigious ballet schools in Europe. She looked like me at that age: lean, determined, and full of promise.
But then puberty hit.
Her body began to change, and the tools we once used stopped working. Her strength fluctuated. Her recovery lagged. She grew frustrated and began doubting herself.
We turned to professionals - but found ourselves caught in a system that didn’t fit.
Some were well-meaning nutritionists who didn’t understand the intensity and nuance of ballet.
Some never asked about energy levels, mood, sleep, or the toll of training schedules.
Some praised her without giving real guidance. Others handed her generic advice that made her feel more lost.
No one asked about her cycle. Or her recovery. Or the stress of living away from home in a performance-focused environment.
I saw her slowly start to internalize the idea that she was doing everything wrong - when in fact, the guidance was wrong.
That’s When I Knew: I Had to Learn More
I went back to the science.
I studied Precision Nutrition’s Level 1 certification and obtained the Nutrition Coaching for Athletes Specialist Advanced Certificate
I dove deep into sports nutrition, performance fueling, and the endocrinology of athletic development in females.
I’m now close to completing the ISSN Sports Nutrition Specialist (SNS)certification, working with the same standards used to fuel elite athletes.
I studied:
And the more I learned, the more I realized how many puzzle pieces are missing in conventional advice - especially for women, dancers, teenage athletes, and mothers.
Why I Created NutrifyMy.life
At first, I never thought of building a business.
But as I struggled - and watched my daughter struggle - I realized how many other women are out there, trying to do their best, and still feeling exhausted, bloated, inflamed, or “off.”
They don’t need another trendy detox.
They don’t need another conflicting blog post from an AI-generated website.
They need someone who understands:
And they still want to feel good in their body - and not be punished for it.
That’s why I created NutrifyMy.life - a science-based, hormone-informed alternative to the chaos of internet nutrition.
A place for women - and the daughters they raise - to stop guessing and start understanding their bodies again.
